Thanks Pat for the comment. It's a shame companies like QSI have not provided suitable sound for our genre.
As far as standard decoders go, I've been using Lenz LE-1035's since I have a supply of them. They have a "switching" function that suits these cars well enabling what I feel is prototypical slow speed performance and adjustable dim on the lighting function which works really well on the markers I installed.
Have not tried the newer Silver decoders on these as yet
